- Intergenerational/Historic
- Secondary
- Vicarious
VICARIOUS TRAUMA:
Vicarious trauma is a shift in the emotional well-being of someone who cares for individuals who have experienced trauma.
It can lead to feelings of hopelessness, exhaustion, depression.
It can have physical effects as the caregiver carries the weight of the trauma.
